Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to support a student in Midwest City, OK. This 1:1 position allows you to make a direct impact on a student's educational experience by fostering accessibility and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into ASL for a K-12 student
- Assist the student in understanding and participating in classroom activities
- Modify signing techniques based on student needs and comprehension levels
- Work alongside teachers to support academic and social development
Qualifications:
? EIPA score that meets Oklahoma requirements (Required)
? Proficiency in ASL and educational interpreting
? Previous experience in a school setting (Preferred)
