As Language Services Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the following activities:
- Language Services Administration: with a high level of attention to detail, make sure that documents and files are managed correctly, and that our online platforms and assignment calendars are updated and managed on a daily basis.
- Online sales: help respond to client inquiries for interpreting, translation, and localization services.
- Scheduling and coordination: locate the best interpreters and translators worldwide using our proprietary database, and schedule them for international assignments. You should have strong project management skills, experience managing a job calendar, and the ability to work with language professionals.
- Production and operations: ensure that all deliverables are produced and delivered correctly and on-time
- Technical support and management of diverse software tools: operate company software platforms, including translation software, scheduling and calendaring software, production software, etc. Strong technical skills are a must.
- Assist with social media and marketing of our brand and services
To be considered you MUST:
- Have fluent, business-level spoken and written English.
- Have prior experience in language services.
- Be technically savvy, with the ability to understand and master new software tools and technologies quickly and easily. Have a strong knowledge of basic IT principles and best practices. Formal training is not necessary, but practical know-how is a must.
- Be intelligent, well-written, professional, extremely organized, and with a very high level of attention to detail.
- Be able to respond quickly and professionally to emails -- at any time, day or night, this is a crucial requirement in ensuring that our clients receive the best service in the industry.
