Role DescriptionWe are seeking full-time remote English-Spanish Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to join our team. In this role, you will provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish in medical, customer service, social services, and 911 settings. You will play a crucial role in bridging communication gaps between healthcare providers and patients, ensuring clear and effective understanding.
Qualifications- Proven experience in medical interpretation
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Certification in Medical and Customer Service Interpretation or a related field (preferred)
- HIPAA compliance required
Technical Requirements- Stable Ethernet connection (wired connection required; Wi-Fi not permitted)
- Noise-canceling microphone and USB-connected headset
- Compatible browser: Latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox
- Full-time availability from Monday to Friday
