About the role:
As a Portuguese Dubbing Adapter, you work on different audio-visual content using our Text-to-Speech technology to transform written text and make adaptations to ensure accuracy in context and technical terms.
- This is a freelance position that is fully remote**.
Responsibilities:
- Translate a manual script of a visual video and use Text-To-Speech technology to produce the same video in the target language through dubbing.
- Review and correct automated translations as necessary, and adapt translations for localization.
- Evaluate the quality of voice and overall video quality.
- Manage and resolve client rejections.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dubbing and post-production workflows -Must.
- 3+ years of experience in (director/adaptor/actor), dubbing, acting, transcription, translation, subtitling, proofreading, captioning, or media localization.
- Fluent in the target language.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Availability: 20-30 hours per week.
