Side international Japan is on the lookout for a Community Manager with a passion for digital communities and a deep understanding of social media trends for the Taiwanese market. If you’re Native in Traditional Chinese and fluent in English, and have a solid grasp of what makes online communities tick—especially in the gaming space—we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you'll act as a bridge between gaming studios and players, monitoring online conversations, spotting trends, and managing content across various platforms.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and manage social media activity across major and emerging platforms
- Report on community feedback, social sentiment, and trending topics. (Traditional Chinese)
- Create and update presentations and reports for internal teams and clients. (English)
- Communicate and coordinate with local client teams and internal stakeholders.
- Identify viral posts, flare-ups, and key community insights
What We’re Looking For:
- Native-level Traditional Chinese and business-level English (Japanese is not required)
- 6 months~12 month experience in social media management (Twitch, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Discord and more)
- Experience engaging with gaming communities (professional or hobbyist welcome!)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sharp eye for analytics, metrics, and community trends
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Passion for gaming and social media is a big plus
- Applicants must be residing in Japan with a valid working visa
Working condition:
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Work hour: 10:00~19:00
