Duties:
- Provide interpretation services for patients and healthcare providers in a medical setting.
- Interpret conversations, medical procedures, and instructions accurately and impartially.
- Translate medical documents, such as consent forms and medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with documentation review to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication between patients and providers.
Experience:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language
(PORTUGUESE - SPANISH - HAITIAN CREOLE - FRENCH - RUSSIAN - MANDARIN - KOREAN - HINDI - PUNJABI)
- Proficient in medical terminology in both languages.
- Experience working as a medical interpreter in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus.

- Strong verbal communication skills in both English and the target language(s).
