Summary
We are seeking a talented Freelance Interpreter minimum 3 years of experience to join our team in New York. This role is vital in helping us deliver accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation services to our clients, supporting our mission of seamless multilingual communication.
Languages pairs required: from Russian, Ukrainian, Uzbek, Tajik, Georgian, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Turkmen, Azerbaijani, Armenian and other languages to English and vise versa.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional interpretation services across various languages for clients in different settings.
- Collaborate with translation teams to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of interpretation materials and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards during all assignments.
- Adapt to different environments and client needs with flexibility and professionalism.
- Support language-related projects by offering linguistic insights when needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a freelance capacity.
- Fluency in English and at least one other language from the company's supported languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and interpretation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Knowledge of interpretation equipment and technology is a plus.
- Certification or accreditation in interpretation is preferred.
