ESTsoft Inc. has an opening available for an Assistant Project Manager who will be actively engaged in the planning, management, launch, and operations of live service for an Unreleased Crossplatform Game Title.
Roles & Responsibilities (R&R):
- Support the Product Manager in all aspects of an unreleased MMORPG’s lifecycle, including preparation for launch and ongoing live operations, coordinating with internal teams (development, marketing, localization) to meet timelines and quality standards.
- Assist in planning and executing content launches, including pre-registration, beta phases, influencer coordination, and digital initiatives tailored for Western and Brazilian audiences.
- Monitor KPIs post-launch (e.g., player retention, engagement, revenue), gathering and preparing data for analysis to inform strategy.
- Assist in managing mobile platform operations (Google Play Store, Apple App Store), including submissions, updates, monetization, and compliance.
- Support monetization strategies by planning, designing, and executing sales and promotional activities.
- Improve engagement and retention by hypothesizing, testing, and implementing strategies through live operations tools.
- Review and analyze service, event, sales, and product-related data to implement improvements and future plans.
- Assist in the creation and execution of weekly/monthly service plans for live operations.
- Collaborate with Community Managers to coordinate schedules, content plans, and engagement activities, ensuring alignment with product and live operation goals.
- Translation may be required: assist with English ↔ Korean translations of live operation content, product updates, announcements, reports, or other operational communications.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in the gaming industry, ideally in product management, live operations, or game production support roles.
- Familiarity with MMORPGs and live service operations, including content updates, events, monetization, and player engagement strategies.
- Experience working with multiplatform games (PC, console, and/or mobile), including understanding platform-specific operations, submissions, and compliance
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, marketing, localization) to deliver on timelines and quality standards.
- Experience in analyzing data and KPIs to inform decisions, optimize player experience, and support strategic planning.
- Experience working with community management teams, including coordinating schedules, content, and engagement activities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks across live service operations.
- Translation proficiency in English ↔ Korean is a plus, particularly for live operation content, updates, and announcements.
- Experience working with Korean-developed games is a plus, given the project’s origin.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, live service environment.
