What You´ll Do
- The Director of Training & Development is responsible for the strategy, planning, and implementation of Schwarzkopf Professional US training and education programs—including global localization, local curriculum creation.
- Lead and implement training (formats include Artist inductions and trainings, key brand programs, and specialty events)
- Ensure artists, full-time educators, and field sales & education teams deliver best-in-class service and support to salon customers
- Lead the coaching, training, and development of the brand’s Education Network
- Directly manage the US Training Team and collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Field Education, and Global Education teams to achieve the highest standards in line with Schwarzkopf Professional’s global strategy and Henkel Consumer Brands priorities
What makes you a good fit
- High school graduate; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Current cosmetology license
- 7–10 years of education and/or professional beauty industry experience
- Experience developing and executing strategic objectives aligned with broader corporate priorities
- Experience in curriculum development, agenda creation, and training execution
- Strong people management and team-building skills; proven ability to lead high-performing teams
- Superior oral and written communication skills; executive presence
- Ability to manage a high volume of activity with adaptability to changing demands
- Knowledge of the business and educational aspects of the professional beauty industry
- Ability to develop future-ready educational models
- Proven ability to plan, develop, and adhere to budgets for all field training activity and T&E
- Strong facilitation, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated flexibility, proactivity, and ability to drive change
- Ability to stand for long durations, sit for long durations, and lift up to 40lbs
- Digital fluency allowing for blended learning development, in collaboration with Digital Marketing
- Ability to travel (minimum ~50%)

The salary for this role is $120,000.00- $150,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
