Producer, TTS Production - Localization and Accessibility

Position Overview
The TTS Producer is an integral pillar in the TTS production team’s creative localization and accessibility workflows, the driving force behind their assigned titles and initiatives. Managing all day-to-day aspects of TTS projects for both audio description and voice over/lip sync dubbing workflows, the Producer partners with multiple internal Deluxe teams and external contractors to execute project assignments and facilitate clear and concise communications with clients, script adaptors, translators/linguists, AD writers, audio & QC operators and other various contributors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains accurate production schedules and project budgets.
- Assembles custom production and creative teams based on project needs, client requirements and operational strategies.
- Onboards and schedules TTS Operators and audio specialists per project and actively participates in department recruitment initiatives and resource KPI tracking.
- Manages orders from entry to completion, ensuring technical accuracy and timeliness throughout the process. This includes data entry, assessing asset workability, freelancer communication/expectations, tracking due dates, evaluating QCs reports, monitoring revision steps, and collaborating with all necessary stakeholders cross functionally.
- Organizes project based kick-off meetings with creatives, operators and stakeholders; collaborates with Creative Language Leads and Creative Performance Manager to ensure multi-language performance consistency and overall production quality.
- Tracks production schedules/milestones and asset delivery dates; ability to pivot internal schedules quickly and effectively due to source asset delays or changes in resource strategy.
- Oversees multiple productions simultaneously in various stages from prep to post.
- Validates workflows to ensure processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with company and client standards and requirements. Comfortable experimenting with new technologies to test alternative workflows for efficiency gains.
- Maintains a sharp understanding of emerging Ai technologies and technical workflows.
- Understands specific technological challenges and clearly communicates these to clients, creatives and production teams during the life of a project.
- Ensures proper understanding and treatment of localization lists, forced narratives, key names and phrase glossaries (KNPs), script adaptation and industry accessibility standards.
- Exhibits a high-level of efficiency and professionalism when communicating project updates, resource strategies and unforeseen challenges to clients and colleagues.
- Masters all required tools and platforms across Deluxe and external client or vendor systems.
- Contributes to creative performance evaluations and provides valuable system feedback.
- Completes other production-related duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years working in localization, production and/or post production.
- Preferred 3 years experience working specifically in the localization or accessibility space.
- Thorough understanding of localization and accessibility workflows, standards and technology.
- Curiosity, openness and passion for Ai technologies and production workflows required.
- Proven experience in managing orders in 3rd party systems.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams both locally and globally.
- Familiarity with TTS, ASR, MTPE, LLMs workflows a plus.
- Understanding of technical audio post production workflows and specifications.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience handling sensitive and complex project requirements and planning.
- Ability to effectively navigate and negotiate with varying creative personalities.
- Strong attention to detail, nuance and creative intent.
- Having an established network within the entertainment industry in various production fields; television, film, animation, gaming, localization, audio description.
- Self-starter, problem-solver; strong collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork.
- Exceptional organization and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in word processor, inventory, order processing and database software.
- Professional working proficiency in a second language a plus.
This is not a remote working opportunity. The TTS Producer is required to work in-person and onsite business hours Monday through Friday. Dependent on overall performance and training, a hybrid schedule may eventually be considered. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a studio office environment engaging with creative, administrative and production teams, as well as collaborating with Deluxe teams working in various capacities globally.
