The Central Web Development Team is responsible for building and publishing web content and digital experiences for the entire portfolio of global Meta marketing and eCommerce websites. This team leads the technical strategy, scoping, development, UAT, deployment and maintenance of our web experiences, product marketing, sales and digital merchandising efforts while collaborating within a highly matrixed cross-functional organization. Our team is looking for an experienced Web Development Manager to lead the planning and web development execution on Meta's marketing websites, while using or adopting industry-leading tools inclusive of AI. This person will work closely with product, marketing, growth, creative, and engineering teams while being responsible for the technical project management, build, testing and deployment of content and web experiences.
- Manage the end-to-end web development lifecycle across Meta's marketing websites from scoping and planning through UAT, launch readiness, and post-launch monitoring

Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into customer-centric web experiences, proactively plan the web development roadmap, and align on resourcing

Drive technical project planning - establishing milestones, work-back schedules, and dependency tracking while communicating platform capabilities, proposed solutions, and strategic trade-offs to inform go-to-market decisions

Lead prioritization and trade-off discussions across competing workstreams with limited web developer bandwidth. Manage sprints and reprioritize as needed, scoping work to balance short- and long-term business objectives while maintaining web autonomy, performance, and accessibility standards

Scope web developer tasks with detailed implementation direction, provide code review support, and troubleshoot issues to ensure successful delivery

Own quality assurance, establish testing plans, lead bug bashes, and ensure quality control of code and the customer experience across breakpoints and devices

Execute web page builds and development as needed, including with AI tooling, to keep projects on track for timely launches

Evaluate and integrate AI-powered development tools into team workflows to accelerate delivery velocity and code quality

6+ years of experience in technical website management including a proven track record of success driving business impact on a global scale through web experiences

Demonstrated experience in the technical aspects of running a website, including HTML/CSS/JavaScript, server-side languages (such as Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or Ruby), analytics, user experience (UX), Search Engine Optimization, domain management, Content Management Systems, platform tools, localization, documentation, and budgeting

Experience partnering closely with web developers, software engineering, and product design teams to drive technical solutions

Experience working and building relationships with cross-functional groups, specifically marketers, designers, UX, and content creators to craft compelling and impactful web experiences

Experience troubleshooting and solving complex problems to enable the business to operate efficiently and without interruption

Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and a willingness to adopt emerging web development technologies

Proven experience developing web applications using React, including advanced component design and state management

Familiarity with modern development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and code review best practices

Demonstrable experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to write and ship production-level website code

Demonstrable experience using AI within development and project management workflows

Experience establishing AI-augmented development workflows within a project setting
