Role: AI Linguist
Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Tue/Wed/Thu)
Pay Rate: $58 - $65 Hourly on w2

Overview:
Looking for an AI Linguist to support AI model quality, evaluation, and data annotation workflows. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality human-judgment pipelines, conduct linguistic analysis, and help improve large-scale AI systems.
Responsibilities:
- Drive AI quality, evaluation, and annotation workflows
- Create and optimize human-judgment pipelines using GenAI + hybrid approaches
- Analyze data and provide linguistic insights
- Research and implement workflow/process improvements
- Perform continuous evaluations and report findings
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computational Linguistics, Linguistics, Speech Science, or related field
- 2+ years industry experience
- 2+ years experience with human-judgment/annotation workflows for AI model training
- 2+ years Python programming experience
- Ability to translate linguistic requirements into clear instructions
Preferred:
- Master’s/PhD in related field
- Experience with agentic products
- Background in scalable annotation/evaluation systems
- Strong written communication skills
