Company Overview
1 World Translation Inc. has been “Making a World of Difference” through its focus on translation and interpretation services among medical, legal, business-to-business, government agencies, and educational clients across the great State of Colorado since 2003.
1 World Translation is searching for an outstanding instructor to teach either the TCI or BTG 40-hour course ideally this September and then renew the contract again for a November course and hopefully every other month, thereafter.
This position involves teaching bilingual or multilingual people to get their TCI/The Community Interpreter or BTG/Bridging the Gap certificates.
Of course, to do this, candidates must not only have the basic certificate but also have a license to teach with their Train the Trainer Certificate for one or both courses. This is an essential, non-negotiable credential. We cannot consider anyone without the basic course and the license to teach that specific curriculum (the permission of the owners of those programs) at least 45-60 days before we offer the course: we are hoping for September, but could consider a October or November course. Our September instructor unfortunately fell through so we are about to postpone that course and push students to the next one.
Please do not apply and try to talk us into the fact that the credentials you have can be substituted, instead of what we say we must have. They are not negotiable.
If you do not have valid a license to teach the specific course: you simply don't. I'm sorry to also say that we do not have time to guide you or instruct you on how to get one. Google can provide the start for you and each organization, the rest of the answers. We are short staffed and in our busiest season of the year. Thank you for understanding in advance.
Our education company will work on obtaining a mutual contract with the licensing organization once we have a properly licensed Instructor.
We have a generous offer for salary compensation to discuss. Our instructor fell through at the last moment. We prefer to teach 2-3 evenings a week and a longer stretch on Saturdays. If you feel it's of strong interest and you 100% qualify, an appt. to chat is ideal: soon. We want to start our first course September 26: but it o is likely too late for a big class. We split the tuition fees collected.
If you can accommodate the September course: please email to arrange an appointment to discuss this with the company owner at your earliest opportunity. We have a large number of students anxious to sign up for the course.
This is the flagship course to several other courses we plan to unveil once we get this course and educator stabilized and on its way. We have some superb instructors ready to get these other courses ready that are difficult to find elsewhere.
