As Propio expands, we are looking for a motivated
HR Specialist to help support our people and business operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a passion for employee experience, and can effectively navigate HR functions to support our workforce. This position requires a general background in HR functions and the ability to assist complex projects with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted associate to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support the People Team in driving employee experience and retention.
- Manage a shared HR inbox for employee inquiries and requests.
- Assist with employee relations matters, providing guidance and resolution strategies.
- Support talent management efforts, including but not limited to onboarding.
- Verify compliance with employment laws and company policies, ensuring HR best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR projects and initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity within HR systems and perform regular system audits.
- Stay current with HR trends, laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation in HR processes.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year HR experience
- Baseline knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Experience in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
