We are currently recruiting an IT PMO (Project Management Office) Analyst who will be who will be part of a small team responsible for supporting the successful delivery of IT projects by ensuring effective project management practices and governance. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and successful delivery of IT projects within the Group Technology team here at RWS.
This is a fixed term 12 month contract.

Our core Group Technology functions include Technical Architecture, Network & Voice, IT Security, Service Delivery, Solutions Delivery and Asset Management. Group Technology has a global presence across all regions with over 400 staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio-level analysis of project health, risks, plans, and resources to inform governance, and quality assurance and appropriate remediation of project data to enable this analysis
- Secretariat responsibilities for Portfolio Governance boards
- Regular review of project data, working with project managers, project team members and sponsors to ensure quality standards are being met and data is accurate
- Production of regular and ad hoc reports to answer specific questions on IT Portfolio health, and provide decision support for the CTIO and her leadership team
- Training IT Subject Matter Experts in project standards and use of the RWS project & portfolio management tool (Celoxis)
- Supporting the set-up of portfolio management processes such as resource management and dependency management
- Analysis of existing Portfolio Management processes to identify improvements which will increase efficiency and quality of outputs
- Secretariat responsibilities for IT Governance Meetings such as Portfolio Board, Approval Board, Gating and others as directed
Skills & Experience
- Experience of working in Portfolio and Project Management Offices
- Understanding of Portfolio Management tenets and Project Management methods
- Familiarity with IT project technical content
- Good relationship building skills
