We are looking for experienced healthcare translators for a project with a leading translation company. The company is working with a health and security services firm. The role involves translating critical medical documents into US English.
Project Overview:
- Languages Needed: Korean, German, or Japanese to US English
- Document Types: Physician notes, hospital summaries, consultation results, and more
- Role: Freelance, remote
- Duration: Long-term project
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare translation experience (Korean, German, or Japanese to US English)
- Proficiency in MemoQ
- Native or near-native fluency in both languages
- Location: Cannot accept California-based freelancers
Onboarding Process:
- Translation Test: Required to proceed
- Background Check: Includes financial and criminal record checks (consent required)
- HIPAA Knowledge Check: Short assessment
- US Permanent Residents: ADP1 clearance (includes fingerprinting and possible interview)
Payment Policy:
- Payments are processed via Payoneer or PayPal (45-60 days from invoice submission)
- Our client will cover transaction fees for Payoneer/PayPal
- Freelancers are responsible for any local bank fees imposed by their country
