Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Marketing Specialist to lead our local marketing and product localization initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and product adoption in Brazil markets through creative and impactful new user acquisition campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing localized marketing strategies, while ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Local market research
- Conduct market research to understand regional customer needs, preferences, and trends that influence brand value proposition and product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Conduct user research to understand user behavior and provide suggestions to improve acquisition, engagement and retention efficiencies.
- Conduct competitor research to understand competitor’s strategy on pricing, campaign, marketing and product experience.
Local Marketing:
- Develop and execute localized marketing strategies to build brand awareness and engagement effectively.
- Provide localization suggestions for marketing materials with highly compelling messages and visual elements.
- Collaborate with HQ marketing teams to provide market-specific customer characteristics and insights to boost growth together.
Local Product Marketing:
- Test online and app product experience and report on issues and opportunities.
- Work closely with HQ product teams to localize product experience.
- Monitor the performance of business metrics and ensure continuous improvement based on customer feedback and data analysis.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Partner with cross-functional teams including product, CRM, campaign, partnership, and sourcing teams to align on overall strategies.
- Manage relationships with external marketing channels for the execution of local marketing initiatives.
- Track the success of local marketing activities via quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Prepare reports on marketing and product effectiveness and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing roles focused on local/regional marketing.
- Experience managing end-to-end marketing activity planning to execution and to post-campaign analysis.
- Strong in critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of market research techniques and customer segmentation for localized strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for creating content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Experience in the travel industry and a portfolio of past work are a plus.
- Strong data analysis and SQL skills are a great advantage.
