Qualifications:- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington, DC SLP license
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school or clinical setting preferred
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Position Overview:National Therapy Center is seeking a part-time, contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services under the DC Equitable Services contract in private school settings. The ideal candidate has experience working with children in educational or clinical environments and is passionate about helping students develop strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students based on their Individualized Service Plans (IEPs)
- Work with students in private schools under the DC Equitable Services contract
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input regarding student performance and goals
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as company policies
Physical Requirements:- Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, such as therapy materials or equipment
- Regular verbal communication with students, parents, and staff, requiring clear speech and hearing
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed
- Reasonable accommodations will be provided as necessary
Additional Information:- This is a part-time, contract position with a maximum of 19 hours per week
- Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
- Services are provided in private schools in Washington, DC
