Our client is seeking a dedicated Localization Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for a self-starter with a passion for innovation and a knack for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
This is a 7-12 month opportunity. The role is located Austin, TX and is hybrid onsite Tuesday - Thursday. The application deadline is Monday, March 3rd, 2025.
Localization Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key teams on the localization of content for various platforms
- Lead localization projects from start to finish, utilizing in-house translation management software and translation memory tools
- Act as the point of contact for urgent localization requests
- Handle Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) projects during engineering release cycles, campaigns, programs, and new product introductions
- Build reporting for localization functions within the organization
- Coordinate with other Localization Project and Program Managers to create consistent processes and practices
Localization Project Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing a portfolio of projects, either agency or client-side
- Experience in managing localization, internationalization, and/or globalization projects
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to lead multiple projects at once
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Experience working with international teams
- A background in product or software localization
- A Bachelor's degree or higher, with a Project Management qualification being a plus
