Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Operations Management
• Develop and execute the overall strategy for Japan, achieving market penetration and revenue targets.
• Lead the localization of our services, ensuring smooth API integration and effective implementation of B2B and B2C solutions.
• Work closely with operational teams to optimize service quality and reliability for travelers.
• Establish and maintain a strong logistics and supply chain network, ensuring seamless luggage transportation with partners like Yamato Transport (Kuroneko), Sagawa Express, and airport logistics providers.
• Monitor and improve operational efficiency, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Sales & Business Development
• Drive strategic partnerships with major airlines (e.g., ANA, JAL), hotel groups, and travel agencies to integrate LuggAgent’s services into their customer journeys.
• Develop joint marketing campaigns and co-branded promotions to increase awareness and adoption of luggage delivery services.
• Work with travel operators, OTAs (e.g., Rakuten Travel, JTB, HIS), and MICE event organizers to establish LuggAgent as a preferred partner for seamless travel experiences.
• Expand LuggAgent’s B2B and B2B2C presence through collaborations with retailers, duty-free stores, and credit card companies, offering travelers a convenient shopping and delivery experience.
• Leverage data analytics to optimize product offerings, pricing models, and sales strategies.
Supply Chain & Logistics Development
• Build and maintain relationships with logistics providers, last-mile delivery partners, and airport service operators to ensure seamless luggage handling.
• Develop scalable supply chain solutions to meet the increasing demand for luggage delivery services.
• Negotiate and manage service-level agreements (SLAs) with logistics and courier partners to maintain high operational efficiency.
Team Leadership & Organizational Growth
• Build and lead a local team, including business development, operations, and customer service personnel.
• Foster a high-performance culture, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and alignment with company objectives.
• Manage financial planning and budgeting to ensure sustainable business growth in Japan.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
• 8+ years of experience in travel, hospitality, airline, or logistics industries, with a strong focus on business development and strategic partnerships.
• Prior leadership roles in airlines, hotel groups, travel agencies, OTA platforms, or logistics companies preferred.
• Proven experience in securing B2B partnerships and scaling a service-oriented business.
• Strong understanding of the Japanese travel ecosystem, logistics industry, and industry relationships.
Skills & Competencies
• Fluent in both Japanese and English (spoken and written); proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
• Exceptional sales and business development skills with a track record of building high-value partnerships.
• Deep understanding of the travel industry and how airlines, hotels, and agencies operate.
• Experience in logistics and supply chain management to ensure seamless service execution.
• Data-driven approach to optimize revenue opportunities and market positioning.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to drive long-term collaborations.
