Job Description Summary To facilitate communication via interpreting all information between the instructor and the hard of hearing and/or deaf student. Knowledge of deaf culture and cultural norms is expected.
Continuous recruitment for this position.Minimum Qualifications - Documentation of skill level and/or certification in using American Sign Language(ASL).
- Interpreting experience at the high school and/or college level.

Job Requirements - Must be available to work during the Spring/Summer/Fall semester.
- Must be available to work flexible daytime and/or evening hours.
- Must be willing to work on the Largo campus and at all extension centers.
- Must be dependable and responsible.
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
- As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
