Freelance Cantonese Over-the-Phone Interpreter (US-Based)

We are seeking professional and dependable Cantonese Over-the-Phone Interpreters to support our clients by facilitating clear and accurate communication between Cantonese and English speakers. This role is ideal for linguists who are passionate about language access and enjoy working in a flexible, remote setting. As a freelance interpreter, you will handle inbound and outbound calls across various industries, including healthcare, legal, government, and community services. You’ll play a key role in helping individuals overcome language barriers and access the services they need.

You will need reliable computer (Desktop PC or Laptop) which can run Windows 10 and has at least 8GB of Ram available for processing.
Must have a dedicated high-speed, private, and secured internet connection.
Internet connection: Minimum download speed 20 Mbps / Minimum upload speed 3 Mbps
Headphones: USB wired headset with a built-in microphone (no wireless/Bluetooth headphones)

Other Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the US
Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Must pass and retain a Public Trust Clearance

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
