At Certified Interpreting Services, we enable individuals and businesses to communicate with confidence in California. Working in a range of industries, we offer translation, interpretation, and ASL services in person, over the phone and remotely.
We are currently seeking freelance interpreters for all languages in California to join our growing network. Assignments may be in-person or remote (via phone/video), depending on client needs and your location.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, perfect for professional interpreters looking for flexible scheduling and steady opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation in various settings, including education, community, legal and medical.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients by demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Qualified or Certified interpreter.
- Minimum 2 years of interpreting experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
