Position Overview
As the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting an end-to-end training and feedback program designed specifically for internal and external TTS resources around the globe. Focusing specifically on Audio Description origination, script adaptation for dubbing, TTS voice generation, audio production and Quality control, this position requires a high level of focus, strong multi-tasking abilities and impeccable communication skills.
You will collaborate with other training team members to build scalable resources and frameworks across multiple languages. Working cross-functionally with Product, Audio, Talent Acquisition, Linguistic Quality, Audio Description, and Support teams, you will help ensure quality standards, enhance technology adoption, and strengthen the performance of Deluxe’s localization community.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assign training materials to potential resources and track overall progress status, including:
- E-learning modules, written guides, and demo scripts
- TTS adaptation techniques for lip-sync and VO
- Phonology and pronunciation best practices
- Client guideline adherence
- Tool usage optimization and troubleshooting
- AI voice casting and performance strategies
- Audio Description standards
- Track talent resource outreach; assign both testing and training materials where needed.
- Assign evaluation tasks to specialists and experts upon completion of operator tests.
- Relay structured feedback to TTS operators and resources.
- Support the planning and execution of live training sessions.
- Ensure skill tiers are properly assigned to resources that align with Deluxe’s TTS product categories.
- Contribute to “train-the-trainer” materials to support scalability and develop a well-rounded resource database of creative and technical operators globally.
- Communicate testing instructions and training details thoroughly with external resources; ensure accuracy and timeliness throughout the process.
- Assist in the organization of an up-to-date library of sample content to demonstrate quality expectations.
- Monitor recruitment and training statistics, set stretch goals in partnership with stakeholders.
- Contribute to the creation and optimization training SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Complete other production-related duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years working in either localization, production and/or postproduction.
- Preferred 2 years’ experience working specifically in the localization or accessibility space.
- Proven experience in mentoring, training, or coaching environments.
- Thorough understanding of localization and accessibility workflows, standards and technology.
- Demonstrated ability to break down complex audio and linguistic concepts for diverse audiences.
- Curiosity, openness and passion for Ai technologies and production workflows required.
- Proven experience in managing orders in 3rd party systems a plus.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams both locally and globally.
- Familiarity with TTS, ASR, MTPE, LLMs workflows a plus.
- Understanding of technical audio postproduction workflows and specifications.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience handling sensitive and complex project requirements and planning.
- Ability to effectively navigate and negotiate with varying creative personalities.
- Strong attention to detail, nuance and creative intent.
- Self-starter, problem-solver; strong collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork Exceptional organization and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in word processor, inventory, order processing and database software.
- Professional working proficiency in a second language a plus.
- Willingness to work during Pacific Time (PST) morning hours.
This is not a remote working opportunity. The TTS Training Coordinator is required to work in-person and onsite business hours Monday through Friday. Dependent on overall performance and training, a hybrid schedule may eventually be considered. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a studio office environment engaging with creative, administrative and production teams, as well as collaborating with Deluxe teams working in various capacities globally.

This role is based in Los Angeles, California and the base pay range for this role is $27.88 - $36.06/hr. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
