About The Role
Pixelogic is looking for an experienced Korean dubbing in-house QC editors to establish a professional, high-performing collaboration with teams around the globe with the goal of servicing our clients' end-to-end projects.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for quality check on Korean dubbing script after adaptation
- Ensure creation and QC review of ASR (As Recorded Script) and Korean AD (Audio Description)
- Maintain quality standards with accuracy and speed and adhere to style guidelines and projectspecific instructions
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Must be punctual, dependable and flexible, and possess a team attitude and willingness to adapt to last-minute changes to programming and industry
- Manage assignments on a pro-active basis and escalate issues to management
- Misc. tasks assigned by Senior Management
- Collaborate with the translation team to address language-specific queries and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content

- 주도적으로 업무를 관리하고 문제 발생 시 관리팀에 보고
- 경영진에서 부여하는 기타 업무 수행
- 번역팀과 협업하여 언어 관련 질의에 대응하고 건설적인 피드백 제공
- 민감한 콘텐츠에 대한 기밀 유지
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Korean, linguistics and language study majors and/or Entertainment and Media
- Minimum of 2 years of Korean subtitle creation and proofreading experience required
- Knowledge of professional scripting, and subtitling software highly desirable
- Deep sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude when experiencing obstacles and enthusiasm to get things done
- Excellent reading skills, spelling/vocabulary, and grammar
- Ability to follow technical/style guide for multiple client content types
- Must be residing in South Korea
