Epitec is seeking an experienced Vendor Manager to join our client in the Technology Industry. As a Vendor Manager, the candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing vendor users on proprietary localization tools, as well as maintaining approved vendor resource databases.
- This is a 6 month W2 contract (with potential for conversion)
- This is a fully remote position
Top Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end supplier onboarding and ongoing maintenance within global Supplier Master Systems, including tax, banking, contact, and payment details
- Review, validate, and approve vendor onboarding requests in alignment with documented Procure-to-Pay controls and compliance requirements
- Execute supplier profile updates and critical data changes with a 97%+ accuracy standard to protect payment integrity
- Perform detailed validations to prevent duplicate, incomplete, or defective supplier records
- Communicate directly with global suppliers to collect required documentation, resolve discrepancies, and support timely onboarding
- Support Procure-to-Pay operations by identifying, tracking, and resolving data quality, compliance, and documentation issues
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve, streamline, and automate vendor management workflows
- Maintain clear desktop procedures and documentation related to supplier onboarding and data maintenance
- Support risk and compliance efforts by ensuring supplier data meets tax, regulatory, and payment policy requirements
- Contribute to projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned
Top Qualifications:
- Experience managing supplier/vendor onboarding and maintenance, including tax forms, banking details, and payment data
- Proven ability to maintain high-quality master data with a 97%+ accuracy benchmark
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes, internal controls, and compliance requirements
- Experience with database management, data validation, and operational execution in high-volume environments
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote setting
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Background in Vendor Management, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Risk Management, or Audit preferred
- Comfort taking initiative and identifying opportunities to improve existing processes
- Experience in large, fast-paced, or Big Tech environments is a plus
