About The Role:
You will be part of a translation team, working closely with the Translation Line Manager. You will be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality and accuracy on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Translation of general and technical texts from English into Korean.
- Review of work of other external translators.
- Understanding and following linguistic processes and procedures.
- Understanding and following the specific processes of each client.
- Producing quality translations within given deadlines.
- Managing terminology effectively.
- Using the translation tools.
- Linguistic testing of software, help and websites, if necessary.
- Proofreading of documents, if necessary.
Skills & Experience
- Be a Graduate or Post Graduate in Linguistics, Modern Languages or Translation Studies.
- Fluent command of English and extremely high level of fluency in Korean language.
- Minimum 3 years translation experience.
- Excellent computer literacy;
- Be able to produce work of a high standard on a consistent basis and have good organizational and time management skills.
- An eye for detail and the ability to work successfully under pressure and to tight deadlines are essential requirements.
