We are responsible for providing the necessary administrative and communication support for non-Korean executives and talents to ensure their life at Hyundai Motor Company is seamless.
Responsibilities
In this role, you are expected to provide professional interpretation and translation services for the top management under various settings. You will also be responsible for planning and executing strategies with an aim to further stabilize and improve the quality of company-wide interpretation and translation services.
■ Interpretation and Translation
- Interpreting C-level and company-wide meetings, events, and training sessions
- Translating reports, meeting materials, and other documents between Korean and English
- Proofreading materials pre-translated by junior translators and Korean employees
■ Continuous Improvement and Change Management
- Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of HMC's interpretation and translation infrastructure and system
- Communicating closely with internal/external clients for the coordination of the most optimal interpretation and translation settings
- Monitoring and enhancing interpretation and translation quality by coaching and mentoring junior interpreters and translators
■ Administrative Affairs
- Conducting administrative work related to interpretation and translation
- Managing interpretation devices and translation tools
- Communicating with team members based in different sites
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Korean-English interpretation and translation
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an in-house interpreter/translator
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in interpreting for high-level executives
- Experience in people management and administrative roles
