Job Overview
We are seeking for experienced Spanish interpreters to join our team. As a Spanish interpreter, you will work closely with doctors and other healthcare providers to facilitate clear and accurate communication with Spanish speaking patients. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care by overcoming communication barriers.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and clear Spanish interpretation during medical consultations, treatments, and other healthcare services.
- Assist doctors and healthcare providers in understanding patients’ symptoms, medical histories, and concerns.
- Ensure patient understanding of medical instructions, procedures, and treatments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with medical staff to improve patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical interpreting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Medical Interpreter Certification of 40 or 60 hours, NBCMI or CHI
- Flexible availability to meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients.
- Must reside in the US
