The purpose of the role varies, depending on the assigned function stream:
Quality Operations – Supports the Operations team in the delivery of services, ensuring that client and company specific quality standards are met.
Quality Process Excellence – Supports the development of processes and the effort to improve for the short term.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data on quality and vendor performance, produce statistical quality reports and create related documentation on RCA, QIP and CAPAs with limited support from managers.
- Plan and coordinate LQAs, analyze scores, and perform follow-ups when resources fail with limited support from managers.
- Educate resources on the Localization Quality Assurance arbitration workflow and best practices, provide support during the arbitration process, and escalate if any reply is delayed.
- Monitor results and perform follow-ups when resources fail to meet quality expectations.
- Analyze RCAs provided by resources and request clarifications as necessary. Provide support to resources with regards to preventive and corrective actions.
- Complete tasks & assume responsibility within the assigned function stream.
- Own a potential portfolio of designated accounts and provide support with data analysis in conversations with customers regarding quality.
- Anticipate customers’ needs, analyze root causes, perform corrective and preventive actions, and escalate while updating client facing documentation when necessary.
- Provide potential support in the development of new processes and potential assessment for current processes to lead and drive process improvements.
- Coordinate and/or support the delivery of trainings to internal and/or external resources.
- Provide analytics, reporting, knowledge, and asset management.
- Contribute to the potential preparation of presentations for QBRs or other quality initiatives.
- Analyze potential data or create potential reports related to performance and trends, among other statistical quality reports.
- Maintain potential language assets (creation and maintenance of glossaries, style guides, TMs, etc.).
- Execute potential quality framework initiatives.
- Organize and host meetings with different stakeholders as applicable with support from managers.
- Create and send communications to external resources regarding process or specific changes.
- Collaborate with every Quality Focus area as required.
RequisitosRequirements:
- Experience and proven track record in Localization Vendor Coordination, Language Team Coordination, or Quality Coordination.
- Working experience in an ISO quality certified translation company.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken); an additional language at a fluent level (both verbal & written) preferred.
- Good negotiation skills and situational awareness.
- Being detail-oriented and process-driven.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to time constraints and accountability for the quality of the deliverables.
- Initiative and ownership to get the job done.
- Result-driven work ethic with high energy and enthusiasm levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and deadline-driven work environment.

Education:
- BA degree or experience in related industries in lieu of Degree acceptable. Fields: Linguistics, Foreign Languages, Modern Languages, Translation, or related fields.
