Our SharkNinja APAC business is scaling rapidly. The two brands, Shark and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Consumer-Centric Focus:
- Assist in conducting market research to analyze consumer ratings, identify customer needs, assess market trends, and evaluate the competitive landscape
Product Localization:
- Assist Product Marketing Manager to ensure new products are delivered on time.
- Assist in the development of on-box and in-box collateral within global guidelines.
- Assist Product Marketing Manager with product-related information, such as product demonstrations, troubleshooting guide, FAQ and after-service needs.
Required Attributes & Skills:
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of product experience, ideally in product development or implementation. Experience in consumer electronics or related industries is a plus.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or an Engineering-related field.
- Skills:
- Ability to contribute to project management and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement product strategies.
- Basic analytical and financial skills to support product strategy development.
- Strong communication skills in both Korean (for translations and proofreading) and English (speaking, reading, and writing). Daily communication with the Boston head office will require effective English proficiency.
- Ability to work with the Marketing Communications team to maintain consistency in messaging and tone.
- A collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in ambiguous situations.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required.
