Job Summary: - Supports and assists in the development of literacy and math throughout the building
- Knowledgeable about the MTSS process and data collection
- Provides small group intervention instruction to identified students
- Administers and monitors assessments to inform instruction
- Completes regular progess reports
- Communicates consistently with parents and staff about the progress of students
- Collaborates and consults with classroom teachers
- Exhibits a strong understanding of the State Standards
- Knowledgeable about differentiation
- Knows how to integrate meaningful technology into instruction
- Understands the needs of English Language Learners and Dual Language Learners including, but not limited to, the Spanish Language Arts Standards and WIDA Standards
- Demonstrates strong communication in Spanish and English
- Postive, flexible, organized, team player
- Maintains professionalism and a positive attitude
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills
Qualifications: Illinois Professional Educators License
Bilingual and ESL endorsements
Literate in oral and written Spanish and English
Reading Teacher/Specialist endorsement preferred
Salary Based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: From $50,300.00 per year or depending on experience
