The Role
Solution Architect works with clients and plays a lead role in the support and delivery of SAP services that are designed to manage the entire asset lifecycle, maximise its use and productivity, and ensure adherence to enterprise and regulatory procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, expertise across best practices and use of the SAP solution suite for the asset life cycle.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce architectural guidelines to align with client's principles and project objectives.
- Ensure solution designs meet business objectives and deliver value to clients while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide strategic guidance on clean core principles to uphold architectural integrity and sustainability.
- Validate draft designs against new S/4HANA capabilities and technology advancements.
- Take ownership of key strategic design decisions to ensure consistent understanding and successful integration.
- Oversee seamless functional and technical integration efforts to minimize disruption to existing platforms and processes.
- Lead architecture forums to discuss updates, challenges, progress, and risks.
- Communicate risks and issues promptly, providing clear direction for resolution.
Technical Requirements:
- S/4HANA knowledge in EAM, procure to pay, finance to manage and project delivery
- Good knowledge in BTP capabilities specially SAP Build Process Automation, CAP and RAP technologies
- Clean core extension methodology and concepts
- SAP Integration best practices and methodology and patterns
- Knowledge in Service and Asset Manager and integration with EAM
- Knowledge of GIS and geospatial works management processes
- Previous leadership or mentoring role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as SAP Solution Architect.
- Hands-on experience in at least five full lifecycle SAP implementation projects, covering various aspects from project preparation to post-implementation support as a solution architect.
- Experience in medium to large-scale industries such as utilities, oil & gas, aerospace & defense, or transportation.
- SAP/non-SAP accredited Certifications as applicable (e.g. TOGAF, SAP EA, S/4HANA EAM, Finance, ISO55000)
