Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Cambodian Medical Interpreter. The interpreter will facilitate communication between healthcare providers and Cambodian-speaking patients, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation. The day-to-day tasks include interpreting in medical settings such as hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities, focusing specifically on specialized fields such as cardiology, orthopedic surgery, and neurology. Duties also involve translating medical documents and assisting with patient education and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in medicine-related fields such as Cardiology, Orthopedic Surgery, and Neurology
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and treatment processes
- Fluency in Cambodian and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- 3 years Experience in medical interpretation is highly desirable
- Adherence to professional codes of ethics for interpreters
- 40 hour medical interpreting training. If not. Assesstment available.
