This hybrid role combines product ownership with in-depth business analysis to ensure that solutions are strategically aligned, operationally effective, and scalable across the global ecosystem.
Acting as a critical link between business stakeholders, engineering, UX, and regional operations, the PO/BA is responsible for managing product backlogs, facilitating Agile delivery, capturing business needs, validating functionality, and ensuring high levels of user adoption. This role is particularly focused on delivering value through cross-product integration, standardization of workflows, and localized support for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

- Translate high-level product strategy into clear, actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria rooted in business value and operational needs.
- Own and maintain the product backlog, driving consistent prioritization based on business impact, technical feasibility, and interdependencies.
- Lead Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews), ensuring coordination and velocity across distributed teams.
- Oversee the preparation, coordination, and review of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring scenarios reflect critical business processes and user roles.
- Review UAT feedback, coordinate resolution of defects or enhancement requests, and validate readiness for deployment.
- Partner with the Director of Change Management to ensure effective communication, enablement, and adoption of newly released features at scale.
- Prepare clear, user-friendly training content and support documentation to guide successful onboarding and utilization of new features by end users.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, process observations, and workshops to elicit business needs, system requirements, and pain points.
- Analyze current and future state workflows, documenting process maps, user journeys, and system interactions to support shared understanding.
- Contribute to the development of functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, acceptance criteria, and operational handoff documentation.
- Collaborate with UX designers and engineering teams to ensure design, usability, and technical feasibility are aligned with business requirements.
- Support cross-product integration efforts, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
- Monitor feature performance and user engagement using both qualitative feedback and quantitative metrics; feed findings into backlog and roadmap planning.
- Proactively identify risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies to ensure delivery timelines and quality standards are met.
- Act as a trusted partner to regional teams, balancing global standardization with local workflow adaptation and feedback loops.
- Promote a culture of user empathy, stakeholder transparency, and continuous improvement across all phases of the product lifecycle.
