EIKON Group are expanding our Translation Management team in Los Angeles and are looking for a highly motivated, experienced person to lead that team.
The Senior Translation Manager is a critical position. This role is designed to take the lead setting up and scheduling projects, reaching out to translators, and coordinating multiple localization projects across Theatrical releases and Streaming platforms.
Working closely with the Account Management team, you’ll be responsible for coordinating incoming translation work for Hollywood studios and major VOD platforms, establishing which resources are required, identifying and engaging the relevant personnel, and assigning and scheduling work across multiple platforms and feature campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, processing, and scheduling, translation orders worldwide for both theatrical features and downstream release windows
- Monitoring progress throughout the production process to ensure everything is going according to schedule to ensure a timely delivery
- Sourcing, identifying, establishing, and maintaining relationships with freelance translators and companies
- Building and maintaining our network of translators/linguists
- Monitoring translator rates + invoices
- Liaising with translators to ensure delivery requirements are met, providing updates as required
- Administration of EIKON’s online translation software META
- Providing administrative support to a wider team of Account Managers working on content creation
- Billing of completed projects, including project reporting and tracking
- Prioritizing and delegating work to other Translation Managers
- Create and manage production schedules across multiple features, extra content, theatrical, and home entertainment pipelines
Key Skills & Experience required:
- Localisation and subtitling experience are required
- Experience scheduling localization projects for features and value-added material
- Knowledge of theatrical feature translations and scripting
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- You are keen to learn about technology and operational production workflows
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritise, multi-task and manage workload in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Professional, positive and proactive attitude
- You are comfortable working as part of a team, and equally able to work on your own initiative

The role will be based in EIKON (2777 N Ontario St Suite 180, Burbank).
Working hours are set from 9:30am to 6:30pm however the candidate should be willing to work outside of these hours based on business requirements.
