We are seeking a motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team in Chalfont St. Peter's (12 month Fixed Term Contract). This role involves managing the IT processes for starters and leavers as well as addressing basic IT issues. While experience is preferred, we welcome applicants who are eager to learn, looking to start their career in IT, and comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and decommission IT accounts, hardware, and software for new and departing employees
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues, ensuring minimal disruption to office operations
- Provide support and guidance to users, addressing their IT-related queries and issues
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, user requests, and resolutions
- Confidently handle tasks and projects independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in IT support is beneficial but not essential
- A strong desire to learn and develop new skills in the IT field
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with users and understand their needs
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and common software applications
