Working as part of a team, the IP Translations Project Manager will be responsible for the management of translation projects in the most efficient manner, always focusing on delivering excellent quality, within budget, on time and in line with the requirements of clients and patent offices. Always working with the customer’s needs at the forefront, the IP Translations Project Manager organises the process from receipt of order up to successful completion and dispatch, by liaising with internal IP Filing and Language Office colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently plan and manage translation projects end to end within RWS’s bespoke Translation Management tools in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, working with translation technologies to ensure that profit margins are always maximized and that internal and external KPIs are adhered to
- Preparation of project quotes for customer and internal purposes
- Report correct sales data for each project within RWS’s accounting software and ensure timely invoicing
- Manage and prioritize own workload
- Liaise with other RWS stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and to client’s quality requirements
- Client and internal reporting
Skills & Experience
- Near-native written and verbal English communication skills. French and/or German knowledge would be a bonus.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Strong team player
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks with a high degree of independence and ownership
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Analytical and structured problem solving
- Desire to learn new knowledge and technology
- Good time management
- Experience within the Intellectual Property field is a plus
- Experience and knowledge of CAT tools is a plus
