Job Description:
• Database and Integration design as part of Asset Management lifecycle in water utilities.
• Analysing complex spatial data, querying large datasets, and can display a familiarity with SQL and other common programming languages for creating and managing new and existing spatial data content.
• Create solution for effective asset management from field to back office over mobile, web and desktop applications using Esri production suite and integration with other enterprise system like IBM Maximo, Pega, SCADA etc.
• Conceptualize, simplify and communicate complex customer or business requirements
• Work with spatial data with a strong understanding of Utility network, Workflow management, Linear asset Management, Network tracing, spatial data formats, map projections, data schemas, data conversion issues, processing requirements and the importance of capturing and updating metadata.
• Use new and evolving mapping technologies, including generating content for web and mobile platforms.
• Use spatial data for sourcing and submitting data using other spatial products like Hexagon, MapInfo and Auto desk products.
• Understanding the importance of data governance and how to comply with industry best practice around data sharing, data licencing, metadata, privacy, and security issues, and acknowledging data sources.
• Study, design and implement the ESRI systems, database and programs.
