About the Role
The Senior Project Manager works closely with other project managers, Technical Services, linguists, and Quality Assurance, and is assigned to clients of varying size and scope of work. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for successful project delivery, a positive client experiences including effectively addressing issues escalated from others and growing the accounts potential based upon predefined objectives. The Senior Project Manager ensures that production and project objectives are met including budgetary and KPI requirements.
About the Strategic Content Solutions (SCS)
The Strategic Content Solutions, part of RWS’s Language Services division, works closely with major accounts and clients of all sizes who are going global with specialized localization services. These services cover the entire localization spectrum, from translating content, media, and audio to creating engaging eLearning programs and transcribing highly impactful marketing campaigns. The SCS works closely with RWS’s Language experience Delivery (LXD) platform, which includes 2,000 in-house linguists, and a network of more than 29,000 translators, who use RWS’s proprietary machine translation, AI, and translation productivity tools, to deliver a 24/7 service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying new opportunities to grow services and solutions, and driving revenue growth within existing key accounts
- Supporting accounts through a consultative, customer, and commercial focused approach, demonstrating how RWS solutions can help drive client success
- On-time delivery of high-quality projects within budget and to client’s expectations, following SOPs and best practices
- Compilation of project estimates and schedules
- Project planning and implementing best methodology and process
- Managing production risks as appropriate to eliminate potential pitfalls or obstacles
- Solving issues which arise during the project lifecycle
- Recommending specific improvements in methods/processes/technologies that lead to customer satisfaction
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in the localization industry with project/program/account management experience
- Understanding of business concepts, strategy, structures and processes
- Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Analytical and structured problem solving
- Works collaboratively and uses a positive approach to achieve goals
- Relationship builders who are very self-aware, can inspire others, and can easily build relationships and interact with a wide variety of diverse people in a variety of situations
