Key Responsibilities
- Downloading and adding data into the IP databases
- Data validation using in-house applications, Excel, and SQL Server Management Studio
- Data correction using in-house applications, Excel, and SQL Server Management Studio
- Investigation of new patent data sources
- Dealing with helpdesk support queries
- Working with the development team regarding data extraction and application troubleshooting
- Specification writing of new in-house applications
- User Acceptance Testing of new in-house applications
- Data quality with emphasis on attention to detail
- Time management to ensure all weekly data feeds are completed on time
- Data feed ownership and process reviews in order to improve speed and accuracy
Skills & Experience
- Database querying using SQL Server
- Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel
- Methodical and numerate
- Excellent eye for detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Success Measures:
To maintain and ensure the quality of the IP data, ensuring timeliness of data availability, and extending the data set
