Job Description:
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
• Provide subject matter expertise in attributes required for safe and effective inventory management of potentially hazardous materials
• Support definition of asset hierarchy to safely and effectively managing chemical and other assets
• Assist in gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements for transformation projects.
• Work with stakeholders to identify business challenges and define clear, actionable solutions.
• Support process mapping and gap analysis to optimise operations and improve efficiency.
Data Analysis & Insights
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, business impacts, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track key metrics and inform decision-making.
• Support data-driven recommendations to enhance business processes and customer experience.
Process Improvement & Solution Design
• Assist in business process modelling, workflow documentation, and user journey mapping.
• Collaborate with UX, automation, and technology teams to design and refine digital solutions.
• Participate in ideation workshops, ensuring stakeholder needs are well understood.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
• Engage with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and business leaders.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation, presentations, and reports for stakeholder review.
• Support stakeholder meetings, workshops, and business case development.
Testing & Implementation Support
• Assist in defining test cases and executing user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Work with end-users to provide training and ensure smooth adoption of new solutions.
• Track and manage post-implementation feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Job Requirements :
Skills & Qualifications:
• Background in chemical manufacturing or polymer engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Basic knowledge of business process modelling, wireframing, and workflow documentation.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and digital transformation best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Experience & Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (Masterspreferred) – highly advantageous for this to be in chemical manufacturing or polymer engineering
• 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or data analysis.
• Exposure to digital transformation, automation, or customer experience initiatives is advantageous.
