About the Strategic Content Solutions (SCS)
The Strategic Content Solutions, part of RWS’s Language Services division, works closely with major accounts and clients of all sizes who are going global with specialized localization services. These services cover the entire localization spectrum, from translating content, media, and audio to creating engaging eLearning programs and transcribing highly impactful marketing campaigns. The SCS works closely with RWS’s Language eXperience Delivery (LXD) platform, which includes 2,000 in-house linguists, and a network of more than 29,000 translators, who use RWS’s proprietary machine translation, AI, and translation productivity tools, to deliver a 24/7 service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Cooperates with the project manager on the technical preparation of the project, its execution and final evaluation.
- Coordinates the project engineers, assigns tasks to engineers and monitors tasks status and the performance of engineers
- Assures the engineering work is being performed correctly, according to the project instructions, per deadlines and quality requirements.
- Analyses and tracks project tasks and deliverables.
- Coordinates the deliveries from the suppliers and monitors their status.
- Suggests and implements project engineering workflow and tools
- Participates in the implementation of new tools, their testing and evaluation.
- Directly communicates with project team, support departments, partners and clients under the supervision of project manager or Localization Lead/Senior Localization Lead.
- Cooperates with the project manager on engineering resources planning, status reporting and solving project issues.
- Ensures final quality checks are performed before delivery to the client.
- Prepares training materials and sessions.
- Identifies risks and inefficiencies in engineering processes and suggests solutions.
Skills & Experience
- Assigns work to the team and suppliers.

- Can act as short term Project Manager backup excluding finance
- Provides data for team and supplier performance evaluation.
- Defines localization tools and processes.
- Previous working experience with corresponding responsibilities is required.
- Client facing communication experience.
- Team/supplier coordination experience.
- Coordinating a small team of 2-3 people is preffered.
- Motivated leader with a mature and positive attitude, reliable, well organized personality.
- Ability to communicate information to internal team, partners and customers.
- Advanced technical solution and problem solving skills.
